Compassionate Ministries consists of 3 areas: education, prayer and giving. 

We educate through classes, videos, and books to raise awareness.

We pray for those needs that affect our immediate people and for the needs around the world.

We Give. We give not only financially but we give of ourselves   through time, resources and love.

 

Our church is involved with providing and serving a Saturday meal at Lower Lights Ministries in Franklinton area. We are scheduled 5 times throughout 2010. 

 

We are also involved at serving meals to the homeless at Faith Mission. These dates are being added regularly.

 

We are working on organizing several other local ministries so call the church staff if you are interested in helping to organize this.

 

In 2010, we are excited to be taking our first missions trip to Nicaragua. We will be building a structure that will be used as a school, church and home for a child sponsorship program. 

As a church, we are all a part of this trip and so we need the prayers, financial support and the participation of all.

Through Faith Promise Pledges, we help support the missionaries and staff throughout the world preach and show the Love of God. 

Throughout the year, there are various other projects and needs that we are a part of. Last year, the youth raised over $1000 to build wells in Africa. The children raised money to buy bed nets to fight malaria. We sent $500 to the Nazarene church to help build buildings that are used for schools and churches.
